Binwant Singh is a full-time Ted Rogers MBA Global student. He has worked as a Technology Consultant and a Trainer/ Counselor in the past and is currently exploring opportunities in the business consulting world. “I would direct my efforts towards the hunger problem. I know how big an issue this is globally and I have also witnessed its implications in my country. I have been part of few remediation programs,” says Binwant. He is aware of the enormity of the hunger issue in Canada where 1.7 million households go without food and through Net Impact Ryerson would like to work with his peers on this challenge, one step at a time.
Darayus is a full-time student in the MBA-MTI program and has diversified experience in customer relations, marketing, branding and corporate communications. He joined Net Impact Ryerson because of the opportunity to serve the communities that Net Impact is involved with. He firmly believes that service to mankind is service to god!
Lynnete Rolland is a full-time MBA Global Student and wished to leverage her background in Finance to be associated with causes that she has always believed in. She joined Net Impact Ryerson because she has deep respect for the initiatives the organisation has taken towards the environment and society, and says that it would be a matter of not only professional but also personal fulfillment to be involved with these noble causes.
Nikhel is a full-time Ryerson Global MBA candidate whose professional background is in business development and implementing corporate strategy. His volunteer experience in includes working with Habitat for Humanity, Daily Bread Food Bank, Toronto Active Community Learning and he has helped plan and support the Walk for Values since it’s inception in 2003. Nikhel joined Net Impact Ryerson because he wanted to help not for profit organizations and charities make an impact on a larger scale.
Ranjani Ranganathan is a full-time international student in the MBA Global program. She most recently worked at Cognizant Technology Solutions as a SAP Consultant, and is interested in moving into the world of marketing. She joined Net Impact Ryerson because of her passion to make a difference through socially conscious activities.
Karen Johnson has a background in Financial Services with experience in both the Canadian Banking and Credit Union systems. She is currently a Full Time student in the MBA – Management of Technology and Innovation program. She joined Net Impact Ryerson to learn more about incorporating socially responsible practices into business strategy.
Gurneet Arneja is a full-time student in the MBA Global program. He most recently worked at Trident Limited, India., and is interested in moving into the world of consulting. He joined Net Impact Ryerson because he wanted to apply his problem solving skills to the hands-on consulting experience offered by this chapter.
Elijah Odigie is a full-time student in the MBA Global program. He most recently worked at Shell Petroleum International and is interested in moving into the world of E-business and Entrepreneurship. He joined Net Impact Ryerson because he wants to use his skills and knowledge to assist small and medium scale enterprises within the Greater Toronto Area in growing their business while maintaining a positive social and environmental impact in the community.
